circa 1856, with re-blued octagonal 5 3/4in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, the top-strap signed 'ROBERT ADAMS, 76 KING WILLIAM ST LONDON E.C.', solid borderline engraved re-blued frame, plain cylinder, wing-nut cylinder release, sliding safe to right-hand side of frame, one-piece chequered walnut grip, iron grip-cap with provision for lanyard ring, spurred hammer and Brazier-style rammer mounted to the left hand side of barrel
