World War Two mounted with period 27in. blade, signed on the tang, gilded 'habaki', standard military 'shin-gunto' mounts with locking catch (gilding worn), iron 'saya' with virtually all its original green-brown paint (bullet damage to back edge) and one suspension ring, complete with its original faded blue and red sword knot
