World War Two mounted with fine 27in. blade, prominent 'hamon', signed on the tang, brass 'habaki' with traces of silver-gilt, standard military 'shin-gunto' mounts with locking catch (gilding lightly worn) and iron 'saya' with virtually all its original green-brown paint, missing suspension ring
