circa 1871, with round 36 1/2in. blued barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, flip-open breech with spring-loaded thumb-catch, plain bar-action lock signed 'PARKER FIELD & SONS, 255 HIGH HOLBORN, LONDON', chained nipple-protector, walnut three-quarter stock, brass heel-plate, brass trigger-guard, the fore-end with three iron barrel-bands, brass nose-cap and jag-ended iron clearing rod
