A .700 PERCUSSION RIFLED-MUSKET, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Continental, probably French and dated 1822 with later conversion to percussion, round 41 1/4in. barrel 'in the white', fore-sight and rear-sight removed, 'PB' stamp at breech with off-centre nipple, plain lock with remnants of the original brass pan, oversize hammer, walnut three-quarter stock, iron furniture including finger-grooved trigger-guard tang, two barrel bands and iron ramrod (missing nose-cap)
