A .750 PERCUSSION SINGLE-SHOT SPORTING-MUSKET SIGNED JORDAN, MODEL 'BROWN-BESS CONVERSION', no visible serial number,
dated for 1757, with probably shortened 42in. barrel, bead fore-sight, rear-sight groove at the hooked breech running onto the top-tang, radiused borderline engraved lock signed 'IORDAN' (sic) at the tail together with the date, original walnut handrail stock with carved apron around the top-tang, shortened to half-stock with horn fore-end tip, brass furniture, later under-barrel rib with plain thimbles and replacement wood ramrod
