A 14-BORE FLINTLOCK SERVICE-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
probably Belgian, circa 1830, with round iron tapering 9in. barrel (cleaned), plain top-tang, military type lock with slightly radiused tail stamped with a small 'O.N.' beneath a crown forwards of the hammer, walnut full-stock with brass furniture (heel of butt repaired), flat brass pommel-cap with central iron lanyard ring and no provision for ramrod
