circa 1880, with 20 1/2in. sighted barrel-section, detachable brass nose-cap with captive mahogany ram-rod, key-way for cocking, 17 1/4in air-reservoir including ivory mushroom-headed pommel, the outer casing of both sections embossed in imitation of blackthorn (heavy losses to finish, untested) COMPLETE WITH its laminate iron stirrup-pump with brass mounts and detachable foot-plate
