A CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION FIVE-SHOT REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S WEDGE-FRAME', serial no. 5020,
circa 1855, with blued 6 1/4in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'WEBLEY & SON, PATENTEES', plain cylinder with engraved rope-band to leading edge, two-piece frame, the rear-half refinished, fully chequered two-piece walnut grip, double-action trigger and 'Kerr' type loading lever mounted to the left hand side of barrel, much original finish remaining to the front-half of the revolver TOGETHER WITH a period walnut storage case, compartmented and lined in green baize and complete with a number of period accessories including a Dixon flask, a brass scissors mould signed 'WD', a brass mounted ebony cleaning rod, wad punch, nipple-key oil-bottle and cap-tins, the lid interior with retailer's 'JOHN BLISSETT' parchment trade-label
