circa 1800, with triple-staged 16in. barrel, makers mark stamped at breech 'W.B.' probably for William Brander, London proofs, iron top-tang (cleaned), step-tailed bar-action lock, possible replacement walnut full-stock with shaped brass escutcheon to wrist, brass furniture (top-screw missing from heel-plate) and probable replacement ramrod
