NEW-HAVEN CT USA' over ' PATENTED OCT. 11. 1887, APRIL 2. 1889, AUGUST 1. 1893', plain receiver with side loading and ejection, the top signed 'MARLIN SAFETY', replacement Marlin butt-stock from a later model, walnut fore-end and full length magazine, much blued finish remaining
