A 1in. BRONZE HAND-RAIL CANNON, TYPE 'LANTAKA'
Malay peninsular circa 1850, 36in. overall with tapering octagonal breech-section, the top-flat with bulbous 'rear-sight' and carved scroll and vine decoration, twin moulded bands with stylised dolphins, the forward portion carved with geometrics and further scrolls, multiple carved bands to the muzzle and applied foresight, captive stirrup pintel and tiller cascabel
