23 1/2in. fluted octagonal nitro barrel, stepped solid matt top-rib, engraved in script 'Herbert Streitmeier ~ St. Paul ~' open sights and ramped bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Victory Varipoint M 2,5-10x42 T* telescopic sight in fine scroll-engraved quickly-detachable mounts, quadruple-grip action with deeply carved side-bolsters, removable striker disc, sprung safety / cocking lever, set trigger, the action finely engraved with acanthus scrollwork interspersed with gothic arabesque ribbonwork, the decorative sideplates with exquisitely executed scenes of red deer in the rut on the left and roe deer on the right, the underside with a chamois, the pistolgrip with a wild boar, signed 'SCHASCHL', silver finish, 14 7/8in. very highly-figured pistolgrip stock with sculpted cheekpiece, sling swivels and including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end with horn schnabel finial, Deeley and Edge pate release catch and finely chequered ejector / non-ejector selector switch, the shaped iron exterior with fine scrolling acanthus motifs, the interior engraved in fine script '100 Jahre Frankonia 1908 - 2008', weight 8lb.15oz., in a Blaser universal case
