TWO VINTAGE CHARTS - 'PROOF MARKS & GUN CHAMBER SIZES' April, 1907 - A hard-backed chart dated April, 1907 (9 in x 13 in), for hanging on wall, listing the PROOF MARKS FOR SMALL ARMS at that time as recognised by the British government. The proof marks shown include London proof marks and the then current and the old marks for Birmingham as well as the Belgian Proof Marks and the French proof marks for Paris and Saint Etienne. (Removed from EJ Churchill's workshops in central London).
c1940s - A hard-backed chart (9 in x 12 1/2 in), for hanging on wall, listing the Minimum GUN CHAMBER SIZES adopted jointly by The Gunmakers' Association, The Birmingham & Provincial Gunmakers' Association, Eley Bros Ltd, F Joyce & Co. Ltd and Kynoch Ltd. (Removed from EJ Churchill's Orange Street workshop).
