the interior lined with green baize, brass lock (key missing), the lid exterior with 'G.G.S. BRANDER THE SUFFOLK REG.'
Provenance: Further research would indicate 'G.G.S. Brander' to be Lt. Col. Gustavus Glyn Spieker Brander O.B.E. (1881-1950) of the Suffolk Regiment.
