A PRUSSIAN MODEL 1811 'BLUCHER' TROOPER'S SWORD, serial no. 595S1,
circa 1812, of typical form with strongly curved 32 1/2in. hatchet-tipped blade (some discolouration), iron stirrup hilt with turned down quillion, large langets, the left stamped '2.T.P.4.11.', plain iron back-strap and ribbed leather grip-piece (some pitting to hilt), TOGETHER WITH an associated iron scabbard, the neck marked as the hilt and also 'RAM 5.30' crossed out, complete with two loose suspension rings (mild surface pitting)
