A JAVANESE CARVED WOOD KRIS-STAND COMPLETE WITH KRIS,
both last quarter of the 19th century, the stand carved from one piece of wood in the form of a deity standing upon a circular base and painted in multiple colours, approximately 20in. high, the kris of typical form with strongly waved 13in. laminated etched iron darkly stained blade, exotic hardwood hilt carved in the form of the god 'Garuda', hardwood scabbard and brass outer sheath
