for 1964, with black stove-enamelled 14 1/2in. barrel, blade fore-sight, plastic automatic loading aperture with built-in rear-sight notch, plain air-chamber stamped with 'BSA' within an arrow and broad divided telescopic sight rail, one-piece smooth beech stock and flush fitting under-lever, much original finish throughout
Other Notes: The Merlin was the smallest under-lever air-rifle ever produced by BSA. Only the first production models had plastic loading apertures.
