circa 1880, with spear-point 9 1/2in. blade false edged for the last 6 1/4in., the left hand side of blade signed 'JAS. HALL, 87 LONDON ROAD, SOUTHWARK', flat brass boat-shaped guard, full length tang with coarsely chequered horn scales held by five pins and double scalloped finger-edge COMPLETE WITH its brass mounted leather scabbard, the throat with saddle-ring and frog button (missing chape)
