A BRITISH NAVAL OFFICER'S SWORD SIGNED WILKINSON, PATTERN 1827, serial no. 38051, with 31 1/2in. fullered blade etched with scrolls, ropes and anchors, makers signature and proof at the forte, solid brass hilt with raised anchor and crown motif, wire-bound sharkskin grip and lions-head pommel, complete with its brass mounted leather scabbard, the whole lightly distressed.
