1977 - 1981 - CHURCHILL, ATKIN, GRANT & LANG and finally back to CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) LTD, a) 1977 - A rare copy of the last Churchill, Atkin, Grant & Lang brochure to advertise the Atkin, Grant & Lancaster shotguns. The next and final edition of a CAG&L brochure, issued in 1979, would only contain details of Churchill shotguns in accordance with the recommendations of Mr. JL Hardy, of Hardy Bros.
b) 1978 - Marketing Recommendations by JL Hardy the then Marketing Director for Churchill, Atkin, Grant & Lang, 61 Pall Mall, with a view to making the firm viable by using only the CHURCHILL name.
c) 1979 - Double page advertisement for Churchill guns in the British shooting press.
d) 1979 - One dozen small black clothing-type labels (3in x 2in) with gold embroidery for Churchill (Gunmakers) Ltd, 61, Pall Mall, London SW1.
e) October 1980 - Estimated position if Churchill, Atkin, Grant & Lang is advertised for sale as a "Going Concern".
f) 15 May 1981 - Flyer from Abercrombie & Fitch advertising THE LAST 98 NEW CHURCHILL SHOTGUNS to be auctioned at 2pm in Conjunction with Christie's of London.
g) May 1981 - Small brown brochure advertising the forthcoming auction of Churchill guns by Christie's at Abercrombie & Fitch, Dallas, Texas.
h) 15 May 1981 - The auction brochure for the last 98 Churchill Sporting guns to be auctioned by Christie's at the premises of Abercrombie & Fitch, Caruth Plaza, Dallas, at 2.00pm on 15 May 1981.
