A 16-BORE FLINTLOCK MANSTOPPER OVERCOAT PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
possibly Irish, circa 1795, with re-browned round 5in. slightly tapering twist iron barrel, flat sighting plane, solid rounded top-tang, plain bevel edged re-blacked lock with stepped tail, semi rain-proof pan and roller bearing to the frizzen-spring, walnut full-stock with flat semi fish-tail butt of Irish form with brass lobed butt-cap, brass trigger-guard and captive iron stirrup ramrod
