30in. nitro chopperlump barrels with 5mm raised matt top-rib and side-ribs, over barrel engraved 'DAVID McKAY BROWN 32 HAMILTON ROAD BOTHWELL SCOTLAND', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in both, hold-open toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, non-selective single trigger, the action and furniture profusely engraved with the McKay Brown 'classic Scottish scroll' design on a finely matted background, the makers name engraved in cartouches to the left and right of the action bar, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/8in. highly-figured stock with Prince of Wales semi-pistolgrip, weight 7lb. 3oz., in its lightweight leather case with accessories
Provenance: The vendor kindly confirms that he had the gun made for him in 2010 and that he has put less than one hundred cartridges through it since then. The engraving was undertaken by Creative Art
