circa 1915, with blued 6 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, the barrel signed 'SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS USA' and with patent dates to 1906, sighting groove to the top-strap, swing-out fluted cylinder, solid frame, colour-hardened ancillaries and chequered walnut grips with inlet 'S&W' medallions to the tops, much original finish throughout
