circa 1850, with Birmingham proofed round 6in. barrel, no provision for fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the plain iron tang, borderline engraved lock marked 'YACHT SHARK', borderline engraved hammer, walnut full-stock with chequered pistol-grip butt, brass butt-cap with iron swivel, brass trigger-guard, ramrod throat, side-nail cups and nose-plate, captive iron stirrup ramrod, iron surfaces darkly stained, woodwork distressed on left hand side
