Provenance: We have been kindly informed that the rifle was built to order on a new P14 action in 1986, for Thomas Kear of Kear Construction, Cockenhatch Estate (Royston). Commissioned by Thomas Kear's uncle and intended as a present, sadly the uncle died before the rifle was completed and so the rifle remained in storage for over ten years. We are informed it has been used just once or twice since then.
