30in. nitro reproved barrels with tapered raised matt top-rib, signed 'J.W. LEWIS', sculpted wooden side-fillets, the breech ends with fin acanthus scroll detailing , 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. full and 1/2 choke, William Baker 1912 patent action incorporating patents 4922 of Feb. 27th 1912 (arrangement by which the firing pins pass through the spindle) and 9768 of April 25th 1912 (relating to the extended bars at the breech end of the barrels) and incorporating provisional patent 34926 of 1930, hold-open toplever with crossbolt, automatic safety, fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening and renewed finish, 15 1/4in. highly-figured replacement stock, weight 7lb. 11oz.
