30in. nitro reproved barrels, ribs engraved 'C.G. BONEHILL. MAKER. BIRMINGHAM. THREE BELL STEEL.', and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, No.2 right wall thickness below recommended minimum, Bonehill patent treble-grip barrel-cocking actions with 'clip lump' patent no. 8471 of 31st May 1884, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', removable striker discs, automatic safeties with brass 'SAFE' plaques, profusely engraved with fine floral bouquet and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed and reblued finish, 14 3/4in. well-figured semi-pistolgrip stocks (No.2 ink enhanced) with chequered recessed side panels, horn drop-points, ornately bordered chequering and including 1/2in. ebonite extensions, the fore-ends similarly decorated with recessed panels and beloidal horn inserts, weight 6lb. 13oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case, the lid outer with small oval brass plaque inscribed 'FREDERICK HENRY BERRYMAN.
