Belgian, circa 1890, with blued 1 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight with engraved running vine along the flat sighting plane, long scroll-engraved fluted blued cylinder, scroll engraved solid frame (traces of colour) with hinged loading gate, manual safe to rear of frame (backstrap cracked), chequered replacement ebony grips from another pistol, folding trigger (action at fault) and centrally mounted ejector rod in the cylinder arbor; TOGETHER WITH a later box lined in blue felt, fitted and adapted for this pistol, and containing a box for ammunition and a home-produced leather belt holster
