(refreshed) and engraved '2' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, Perkes No.2 patent hammerless action, patent no. 1968 of 1878, use number 1191, Scott patent gas check system, patent no. 617 of 1882, use number 3045, action flats with studs, fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 15oz., in its makers brass-cornered hammergun case
