A 12-BORE FLINTLOCK HORSE-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Continental circa 1720, with octagonal to round 12 3/4in. barrel, bead fore-sight, deeply struck makers marks at breech, a stylised '2' engraved to the solid top-tang, plain slightly curved radiused lock, unbridled frizzen, walnut full-stock with carved apron around the top-tang (possibly renewed, fore-end with repair), large long-spurred iron pommel-cap, moulded iron trigger-guard bow, brass serpentine side-plate, iron ramrod pipes and replacement iron ramrod
