with single-edged curved 36 1/2in. blade with a wide fuller for the full length and a narrow fuller along the back edge for the centre section only, makers mark at forte, brass three-bar hilt stamped with a small shield device over '751.' to the front side, wire-bound leather covered grip-piece and brass pommel, complete with its matching polished steel scabbard and leather sword-knot
