circa 1795, with turn-off round 3 3/4in. rifled barrel (frozen), rounded breech signed 'KNUBLEY, LONDON', London proofs, squared central hammer boxlock action engraved with trophies, the right side with trigger-release for the triangular section barrel-mounted bayonet, the left side with belt hook, rainproof pan, sliding safe to the top-tang, chequered walnut bag-shaped butt and concealed folding automatic trigger, some staining throughout
