28 1/2in. nitro reproved (in 2015) original chopperlump barrels for No.2 gun, scroll-engraved at the breech ends and engraved 'F. BEESLEY. 7. BURY STREET. ST. JAMES'S. LONDON.', the rib gold-inlaid '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, (partially struck off, right wall thickness below recommended minimum);
toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', carved leaf fences, automatic safeties (replacement catches) with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, best bouquet and scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish, some screws replaced, 14 1/8in. figured stocks (worn, cracks at head and hand), fore-end finials heavily polished or replacements, weight 6lb., in a leather motor case
