A RARE .177 BREAK-BARREL SPRING-PISTON AIR-RIFLE, MODEL 'MGR 1', serial no. 1930,
circa 1905, with blued two-stage sighted 16in. barrel, the underside stamped 'IN GERMANY MANUFACTURED', the left side of breech stamped with 'PATENT' and 'MG' over 'R' within a circle, nickel-plated air-chamber, walnut straight-hand butt-stock, plated heel-plate and cast trigger-guard, plated cocking link, the whole professionally refinished throughout
