circa 1900, with blued octagonal 28in. barrel, matted top-flat, the two side flats signed 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND' and '98 NEW BOND ST, LONDON' respectively, dove-tailed fore-sight, dove-tailed standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, plain action (slight traces of colour) with left hand mounted side-lever opener, central hammer, walnut chequered pistol-grip butt-stock (repaired at head), iron heel-plate and chequered walnut splinter fore-end with single barrel-key
