dated for 1937, with blued 4in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, notch rear-sight to the rear toggle-link, the top of toggle signed with the makers mark 'S/42' for 'Mauser', blued receiver, blued frame, chequered walnut grips, all matching numbers including aluminium based magazine, speckled surface corrosion to the original finish, 'straw' colour to ancilliaries
