circa 1880, with 21 1/2in. barrel, blade fore-sight with side protectors, elevating ladder rear-sight, plain action (cleaned of details), walnut butt-stock with iron heel-plate, short under-lever, full-length fore-end including moulded iron nose-cap, no provision for bayonet, missing under-barrel ramrod (action at fault)
