28in. replacement nitro barrels (by the makers), the tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 13 BRUTON STREET, LONDON.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke;
extra 28in. nitro barrels (by another), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke;
automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, semi-selective single trigger, border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed and blued finish, 15in. replacement stock (small crack at hand), fore-end wood split and catch housing split, weight 6lb. 10oz., in a leather case with provision for both sets of barrels, the lid exterior initialled 'N.J.H.'
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed in August 1902 for a 'Shillitoe'
