32 3/4in. black powder only barrel engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. LONDON. METFORD RIFLING. FOR W.R. METFORD CARTRIDGE', and with triangle detail on the knox form, adjustable tangent sights, the base engraved 'ELEVATION FOR WIND GAUGE FORESIGHT', front sight missing element, action engraved on the left with the triangle motif and 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. LONDON', and on the right 'DEELEY-EDGE PATENT MATCH RIFLE', triggerguard mounted safety catch, tang tapped for a sight base, butt with housing for a vernier rearsight (missing), 14 5/8in. pistolgrip stock (some surface splitting) with dot and chequered steel buttplate, cross-pin detachable fore-end with horn finial, weight 8lb. 11oz.
