circa 1900, with blue, round 26in. barrel, octagonal breech-section, the top of barrel signed 'ARMY & NAVY C.S.L. LONDON', dove-tailed fore-sight, dove-tailed standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, plain action (slight traces of colour) with right hand mounted side-lever opener, central hammer, walnut chequered pistol-grip butt-stock, iron heel-plate and chequered walnut pull-off splinter fore-end (chipped at corner), much finish throughout
