recent, with fixed 4in. drop-point blade, the ricasso engraved with a foxes head emerging from foliage on the left hand side and a pheasant taking flight on the right, floral engraving to the cross-guard, polished bone handle with ebony bands, a further pale bone band to the pommel, no scabbard
