** FOUR BRITISH-ISSUE FAIRBAIRN-SYKES MILITARY KNIVES,
all of World War Two vintage and of usual form, the first a scarce 2nd pattern private purchase, the ricasso etched 'WILKINSON SWORD, LONDON' within a panel, blade polished, copper alloy chequered hilt and leather scabbard with sleeve tabs removed (elastic retainer gone), the second a scarce example with a 'ring and bead' hilt, broad arrow marked, in a leg scabbard, the third of 'B2' type, late war issue, stamped '21' with a broad arrow on the cross-guard, with a later leather scabbard, the last similar to the first but with a more detailed etching reading 'BY APPOINTMENT, WILKINSON SWORD CO LTD, LONDON' (cleaned, elastic gone on scabbard)
