circa 1800, with browned round 9in. twist-iron barrels, full-length sunken sighting grooves signed 'DUBLIN' running back into the engraved iron top-tangs, bead fore-sights, plain flat borderline engraved pointed tail locks with acanthus leaf engraved detail, rain-proof pans, roller-bearings to the frizzen-springs, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, white-metal oval escutcheons to the wrists, white-metal domed butt-caps, blued trigger-guards, pineapple finials, twin white-metal oval barrel-key escutcheons and horn-tipped ramrods, both pistols with much finish and appearing little-used
