* A SCARCE BRITISH SWORD BAYONET FOR A BRUNSWICK RIFLE SIGNED ENFIELD,
and dated for 1845, with 21 3/4in. symmetrical leaf-shaped blade, blind fuller for the first half of its length, one side stamped at the forte 'ENFIELD 1845' together with a small 'VR' crown cypher, the reverse stamped 'W.S.' with an ordnance over-stamp, brass cross-guard with turned down quillions, brass ribbed hilt with bar-slot and pan-headed release button, missing scabbard
