for 1897/98, with blued 32in. barrel signed 'MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CONN. USA', blued receiver stamped with the special 'Winchester' monogram, walnut butt-stock with smooth half-pistol grip, iron heel-plate, twin screwed smooth wooden fore-end fillets, under-barrel half magazine and a good amount of finish remaining
