A 12-BORE 'MOD. S687' SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR, serial no. F58493B,
28in. nitro barrels with 6mm ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, multichokes (with spares), hold-open toplever inlaid in silver with a pigeon on the wing, automatic safety with integral barrel selector switch, gold-washed trigger, floral and scroll engraving surrounding game scenes of duck and English partridge, the underside with a lone woodcock, blued and silver finish, 15 3/8in. pistolgrip stock including 1 1/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 6oz., in a canvas and leather slip

Provenance: The gun is supplied with a letter of provenance from Bob Tyrrell confirming that the gun was owned by his late Father, Ken Tyrrell, and that it was shot by him on a regular basis at Chatsworth and Haddon Hall after he switched from using a side-by-side in the 1990's.
The gun is also accompanied by a further letter from Sir Jackie Stewart O.B.E. that makes reference to the gun and speaks fondly of Sir Jackie's history with Ken Tyrrell, both on the track and in the shooting field.
