circa 1910, with blind fluted blued octagonal 32in. barrel, ramp and dove-tail blade fore-sight with engraved facing to the ramp, micro adjustable rear-sight sliding on a dove-tail stamped 'WIDMER FRERES BIENNE ET NEUCHATEL', colour-hardened relief engraved scroll and gamescene slab-sided receiver, dropping 'Martini' style loading ramp, walnut adjustable Swiss-style butt with raised cheek piece, raised carved thumb-rest and exaggerated adjustable hooked butt-plate, complex engraved colour-hardened trigger-guard bow with finger spurs and rests acting as the cocking lever, double set triggers, walnut schnabel roach-bellied fore-end and fitted with sling-swivels, the whole retaining much factory finish
