A .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR MKI STRAIGHT-GRIP', serial no. 4794,
circa 1925, with sighted rifled 7in. barrel, the breech block stamped 'BRITISH PATENT NO. 219872, FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING', blued stepped air-chamber marked on the left hand side with the Birmingham and London address and the model designation, four pin trigger-group, rotating safe, no provision for trigger adjustment, smooth walnut grips, the left hand side with inlet 'winged bullet' medallion, the whole retaining much factory blue finish
