A RARE .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR STRAIGHT-GRIP SENIOR', FIRST PATTERN, serial no. S951,
circa 1930, with incorrect replacement sighted rifled 6 1/2in. barrel (drilled at muzzle), blued stepped air-chamber marked with five lines of patents on the left hand side together with the model designation, Birmingham address and six lines of patents on the right, four pin trigger-group with MKI style trigger-adjuster (locking screw replaced), chequered hard rubber grips embossed with the 'WS' monogram (one with chip at rear), the whole retaining a fair amount of factory blue finish

Other Notes: It is believed that only the first 1000 Senior model pistols were produced with the adjustable trigger
